AM Batteries, a Li-ion dry-electrode startup, closed a $30m Series B funding round that was oversubscribed.
The technology does away with the drying process you get with conventional “wet-coating” battery electrode production. And it also eliminates the need for harmful solvents.
Toyota Ventures, Asahi Kasei, Porsche Ventures have been joined by investment firms like Anzu Partners.
