BASF Partners on Another North Sea Windfarm to Decarb Flagship Site

BASF extended its wind-power partnership with Vattenfall by securing 49% of the output from the Nordlicht 1 and 2 project in the German North Sea.
A lot of the electricity will go to the flagship Ludwigshafen site that’s been hit by high energy costs. BASF wants to cut scope 1 and 2 emissions by 25% by 2030.
