Bayer Creates Gene-Editing Platform for Veg and Fruit Seeds

Bayer has launched another open innovation gene-editing platform to accelerate its pipeline of enhanced fruit and vegetables.
The move follows the announcement of a couple of tie-ups. Bayer is working with G+FLAS to develop tomatoes enhanced with Vitamin D3, and it has secured a commercial product licensee from Pairwise for edited leafy greens.
