Washington a Step Closer to Banning PFAS, Toxic Chemicals in Cosmetics

Legislation to ban PFAS, lead, phthalates, formaldehyde in cosmetics has passed in the Washington State Senate and now heads back to the House of Representatives.

If signed, this law will become the strongest in the country regulating toxic chemicals in beauty and personal care products and establishing incentives for safer products, according to Toxic-Free Future.
